Accessing a website or webpage is a straightforward matter: launch your browser, type in its address or click its bookmark, and moments later you’re there. You can easily access any webpage you want as long as you have access to the internet. Problems arise when you don’t have internet access. WebCopier aims to fix this issue by letting you download webpages to your PC so you can access them even when you don’t have an active internet connection.

WebCopier is available for mobile, Linux, Mac and Windows. The Windows edition is available in two flavors: a standard version and a WebCopier Pro version. Both of them can be easily installed by downloading and running an executable. Both of them are free to try for an evaluation period of 15 days.

By default, the WebCopier application uses a ribbon interface that can be customized by picking one of several themes. If you are not a fan of the ribbon, you can choose to disable it. Choose not to use the ribbon interface, restart the application, and you will be presented with a traditional File menu instead. Below it there’s a pane that lists all your projects and a pane that you can use to browse the web.

From WebCopier’s built-in browser you can surf the web, you can access any webpage you want. When you come across a webpage that you want to be able to access offline, you can download it to your machine. A simple wizard will help you create a new project for the webpage that you want to download – and once the download completes, the selected webpage will be stored locally so that you can access it even without an internet connection.

You don’t need permanent internet access to visit webpages. You just need internet access long enough for WebCopier to download a webpage to your PC.

Pros

WebCopier is available for mobile, Linux, Mac, and Windows; there’s a regular and Pro version for Windows. You can browse the web from within the application with the built in browser. A wizard helps you create projects and save webpages to your PC.

Cons

Free to use for a 15-day trial period.
